- Loosen the top few inches of soil to improve aeration and drainage.
- Expert mode: This move is beyond beginner, and you don’t NEED to do but, if you have the time and the desire… Test the soil—Santee Centipede prefers slightly acidic soil (pH 4.5–6.5). Adjust with lime or sulfur if needed.

2. Spread the Seed Evenly
- Use a broadcast spreader for even coverage.
- Apply the Seed: Apply the seed evenly across the prepared soil using the recommended seeding rates:
