EMPIRE Zoysia® is the perfect choice for southern homes, thriving in areas where others are not well adapted. Its ability to withstand drought without permanent damage, chinch bug resistance, and traffic tolerance make it a great choice for tricky climates. EMPIRE Zoysia requires less mowing and chemical application than other varieties, making maintenance less of a hassle. Most importantly, EMPIRE’s vibrant dark green color and medium-bladed texture make for an absolutely stunning lawn.

The plugs arrived in good shape and were well hydrated. I was using them to patch my existing lawn. Most of them seem to be doing well. I would be sure to advise folks to use a small amount of the soil moist. The New Lawn Starter box seemed to make a positive difference.
I order a follow-up shipment of two trays of Empire Plugs this month. Just like my first order in June , the plugs arrived in great shape. Healthy looking , moist , and ready to be planted. Excellent product and service from Sod Solutions.
My plugs arrived at my door in two days after ordering. The plugs were in great shape and ready to plant immediately. I watered them a couple of times a day for 4 days and they were already starting to have good contact with the soil in the holes. The auger worked great and helped speed up the process.
Great job. Fast service. Local grass.
Not all of the zoysia plugs made it. I'm still trying to keep the rest of them alive. All in all, they really are nice plugs. I just wished they would have all made it.
