New Plugs

So far they are doing well in a test patch in my yard. One of the few times when it is exciting to watch grass grow. Can't wait for the section to completely fill out.

Good but not the best

This latest order I have seen more plugs that were either dead or so tiny they could not be salvaged. There has also seemed to be more dead matter within some of the plugs. Did I take pictures- no. I know you have seen to be under the gun to meet demand so who am I to expect anything. Also, I liked your packaging better earlier but the last 3 weeks you are back to leaving more open space in the top of the carton. FedEx folks like to bounce the cartons hard instead of being gentle and that bounces plugs out of the trays. I still love you folks and and your products so please don’t take me wrong!

Should be free delivery

Plugs arrived healthy, moist & green. They have already rooted. Just wish the plugs were a bit larger for the cost & included free shipping. Tried another supplier thru Amazon. Larger plugs, cost acceptable, free shipping. Arrived within 2 days; green, moist & a perfect fit in the hole.

Beautiful plugs

This is my second purchase of Citrazoy plugs. It’s been a year since I planted the first ones. They’re doing better this year, probably because they had a full year of exposure. The patches are about 4” now. It seems to take a long time to spread, but I’m happy they survived the winter freeze.

2026 Early Spring Update

It’s now March 7th and it has been the hardest winter I have experienced in Richmond for the 9 years I have lived here. I was really concerned about my CitraZoy and how it would handle the weather. Yesterday, I started checking it and was amazed it has already started to come out of dormancy. Being on the fringe of the map shown on Sod Solutions adaptation map has always made me nervous how well it would do through a colder weather. The temperature did get down to +5 degrees in February in my backyard according to my Tempest. We experienced cold weather open ground, sleet, ice crusting, and tons of rain. The roots have been exposed to wet soggy conditions throughout. It appears to managed everything Mother Nature has thrown at it. I can’t be happier than this choice. It is tough against disease, fills in fast, takes the soggy condition of part of my yard, less mowing, and looks fantastic in the summer!

Citrazoysia

Plugs delivered quickly and in great condition. Others should know this type of zoysia is very slow growing. I live in east central Florida and my soil is mostly sand due to being on a barrier island. No problem with salt has been detected. Thank you for selling this disease redistance lawn.

Customer service was extremely helpful. I got the plus in within a day. Out of 144, as of last count, 8 didn't make it. The growth seems very slow, however it could be the time of year. They are mostly green and surviving on my normal 2x a week watering schedule. I hope they really take off this spring.

Are these these sold on Amazon thru Central Turf Lawn? Just need to know the type that are sold. As you can see from the photos two different types

Not bad but needs some tweaking

Some of my orders have seen minor damage by FEDEX at point of delivery. They slam the box down on its end causing some of the pods to be displaced and damaged. I understand Sod Solutions can’t always help this BUT my suggestion is that the box have which side needs to be up emblazoned with red letters or a sticker. Also a few of the pods - not a lot - have been pretty puny and hard to get out to plant. Overall the quality has been good.

Citrazoy Grass Plugs

Purchased a tray of Citrazoy plugs. .. shipping was prompt and plugs arrived in good condition. They are SMALL and we planted them within 24 hours of arrival. They've been in for over a month (watered twice a day) and perhaps 10% have died. The rest are looking okay but I think it may be some time before we see much spreading.
