Developed in Australia in the 1990s, Celebration Bermudagrass sod has become one of the premiere bermuda varieties used worldwide. Measuring Your Area Measure the area that you plan to cover in square feet. This is done by multiplying the length and width of the area. For irregularly shaped areas, break them down into smaller rectangles or triangles, calculate the area for each, and then sum them up. Once you have the total square footage, you can order the appropriate amount of Celebration Bermudagrass sod, considering a little extra for cuts and adjustments.
