SedgeHammer+ is often described as one of the gentle turfgrass products. People and pets may return to the spray site after treatment once the product dries.

Plugs are growing well!
I first ordered 3 trays of Empire zoysia. Then I found out citrazoy is more shade tolerant so ordered a tray to try under a sycamore tree. All the plugs are growing well.

Nutgrass Killer
While researching means to eradicate nutsage Sod Solutions recommended their product Sagehammer. I ordered it thru their website, received the product timely and applied it to my yard. The product worked well. Will keep Sod Solutions in the mix for future needs relative to lawn care.

I have found sedgehammer to be an effective herbicide at eliminating nutsedge in my lawn.

This is one week later killing the sedge and the pennywort and the lawn is fine. .wish it came in larger amounts so I could measure it.
Too early to tell
It’s only been about a week since I applied the solution. So far, the nutsedge seems to be dying out (turning yellow) in a few isolated places. But there is one large patch that still looks healthy. I’ll give it a little more time to show effectiveness. I like the pre-packaged 1-gallon doses for this initial application, because I have a few large patches to eliminate. But if I need it in the future for a few weeds here and there, I wouldn’t need to mix a whole gallon, and since it shouldn’t be stored after mixing, it would be wasted. The price as a stand-alone is decent, but added to a separate horsenettle herbicide (which Sedgehammer+ doesn’t kill) starts to become pricey. A discount would be nice if I needed to buy other herbicides to complement it. Ultimately, thanks for offering this product. Nutsedge is a BEAR to eliminate, and this seems to be doing the trick!
