This product is a fast-acting pelletized limestone designed for lawns with acidic soil. Made from finely ground limestone formed into low-dust pellets, it spreads evenly and breaks down once watered in to begin working in the soil.
This pelletized lime for lawns raises soil pH toward an ideal range for grass. By correcting acidic soil, it improves nutrient availability and allows fertilizer to work more efficiently. When soil pH is balanced, grass roots absorb nutrients more effectively, resulting in stronger growth, better color and improved lawn performance.
Apply 20-40 lbs per 1,000 sq. ft. Refer to the product label for full application instructions.
Apply lime when a soil test confirms acidic soil. Lime can be applied during most of the growing season as long as the ground is not frozen. Because pH adjustment is gradual, proper timing supports long-term lawn health rather than short-term cosmetic improvement.
