Not all lawn and garden problems are caused by soil pH. In many areas, especially where heavy clay is common, roots struggle because water, air and nutrients can’t move freely through the soil. This can lead to shallow roots, poor drainage and uneven plant growth, even when watering and fertilizing are done correctly.
This product is an organic soil conditioner made from natural, pelletized gypsum. Designed for use on lawns and garden beds, it improves soil structure without raising or lowering soil pH.
This gypsum for clay soil works physically in the soil by helping clay particles separate and improving soil aggregation. As structure improves, water infiltration increases, roots penetrate more easily and excess moisture drains more evenly. Gypsum is also effective for gypsum for compacted soil, where tight structure limits root development.

Garden gypsum can be applied throughout the growing season whenever soil structure issues are present. It is especially useful in areas with poor drainage, heavy clay or visible salt damage from pet traffic or ice-melting products.
This pelletized gypsum spreads cleanly with a standard drop or broadcast spreader and can also be applied by hand in smaller garden areas.
While this gypsum soil conditioner supplies calcium and sulfur as secondary benefits, its primary purpose is improving soil structure. Your main fertility plan should still focus on nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, with additional nutrients applied only when a soil test shows a specific need.
