- Gather Equipment: Ensure you have a clean sprayer, measuring tools, and protective clothing (long-sleeved shirt, long pants, gloves, and eye protection).
Mixing
- Calculate the Required Amount: Determine the size of the area you will treat and use the following rates for mixing:
- Low Rate: 0.057 oz (1.6 g) per 1,000 sq ft
- Medium Rate: 0.085 oz (2.4 g) per 1,000 sq ft
- High Rate: 0.113 oz (3.2 g) per 1,000 sq ft
- Fill the Sprayer: Fill your sprayer tank with water to about 25–50% of its capacity.
- Add Herbicide: Add the calculated amount of Celsius WG Herbicide to the sprayer. Continue filling the tank with water while agitating to ensure thorough mixing.
- Add Adjuvants: If necessary, add a non-ionic surfactant (NIS) at 0.25% v/v to improve coverage. For difficult-to-control weeds, add methylated seed oil (MSO) at 0.25–0.5% v/v. Do not use adjuvants at temperatures above 90°F.
