Legacy® Buffalo grass was developed by the University of Nebraska and has changed the way people look at buffalo grass turf. It has a medium blue-green color and grows 3 – 5 inches high. Its dense canopy of fine leaf blades creates a very soft carpet which is perfect for lawn activities. It is cold hardy to Zone 3, and is an all-female grass with a very low pollen rating.Due to plug trays being a living product, we only ship plug trays on Monday and Tuesday to ensure plugs do not sit in a warehouse over the weekend. This will impact delivery time, but all plugs should arrive within 1-2 weeks of order placement date.

*Square foot coverage is based on spacing plugs 12″ apart.
