Why Plant Packs?

Easier Than Seed

Start with plantlets and nix the constant attention and worry that comes with growing plants from seed packets. Each seedling arrives at your doorstep fully germinated and ready for planting.

Get More With Less

An order of a dozen seedlings costs a lot less than buying an even smaller amount of plants from your local garden center—and you get enough to fill an outdoor garden, screened-in patio, or apartment balcony!

Great for Both Outdoor Gardens & Small Apartments

Who said you had to have a full blown house and yard to start a garden!? Each seedling can be planted in containers and placed by windows, on apartment balconies or on patios and porches.

Become an Instant Green Thumb

If you’re looking for a way to get into gardening, this is it. Show off your newly earned green thumb and grow each variety from small seedlings to fully grown, established plants.

Plant Description

Tomatoes & Marigolds:
Grow beefsteak tomatoes from seedling to harvest with Lawnifi Plant Packs. Add a splash of color to the mix with tomato’s companion plant, marigolds! Companion plants work to benefit each other. Marigolds repel harmful insects and caterpillars while also attracting beneficial pollinators like butterflies and bees. Additionally, marigolds kill off harmful bacteria that often affects tomatoes like blight and rot. Each Tomato & Marigold Plant Pack comes with six tomatoes and six marigolds.

Environment, Nutrition & Tips

Preferred Environment
Tomatoes prefer warm climates with direct sunlight and well-drained soil. Marigolds grow best in full sun and can survive very hot summers. Marigolds are susceptible to disease in shady, moist areas.

Feeding Tips
Both tomatoes and marigolds need a lot of phosphorus, which is the last of the three numbers in fertilizer formulas, while rooting. An 8-8-8 fertilizer, like Lawnifi Grow, provides the best nutrients for both plants.

Hot Tips:
Don’t plant the seedlings directly into the ground upon arrival. Even if that’s their final destination you should harden plants off in pots.
Avoid watering the plants in the evenings. Early morning watering will keep plants from drying out during the day, and protect from burn & fungal growth. Keep seedlings moist around the rootzone until they become more established.

Plant Description

Snacking Peppers
A dozen snacking peppers will arrive at your doorstep in clamshells as ready-to-plant seedlings. Upon fruiting, snacking peppers can be red, yellow or orange in color. These mini-sized snacking peppers are sweet, flavorful and perfect for a nutritious snack. Each seedling will eventually grow into tall, strong plants.

Environment, Nutrition & Tips

Preferred Environment:
Snacking peppers and most peppers in general prefer full sun and well-draining soil. They tend to prefer morning sun over evening sun but either will work. Snacking peppers will grow well in raised beds, containers or in the ground.

Feeding Tips:
Snacking peppers need a lot of phosphorus, which is the last of the three numbers in fertilizer formulas, while rooting. A 11-11-40 with micronutrients includes a balanced amount of nutrients for snacking peppers.

Hot Tips:
Using a planting stake will help support a healthy pepper plant as it grows.
Once the pepper plants start to fruit, use garden clippers to remove the peppers during harvest instead of pulling them from the plant.

Plant Description

Zinnias
If you’re looking to dress your lawn up with some color or shopping for flowers, zinnias are a great choice. Each Lawnfii Plant Pack comes with a dozen seedlings that will eventually blossom into a mix of different colors including red, white, yellow, pink and orange. Zinnias and easy to grow and maintain and have a high heat tolerance.

Environment, Nutrition & Tips

Preferred Environment:
Zinnias prefer full sun and well-draining soil. They can grow in partial shade in warmer climates but they may become susceptible to disease. They are sensitive to frost so wait until the last frost date for your area before planting.

Feeding Tips:
Zinnias need a lot of phosphorus, which is the last of the three numbers in fertilizer formulas, while rooting. An 8-8-8 fertilizer, like Lawnifi Grow, provides the best nutrients for zinnias.

Hot Tips:
Make sure the soil doesn’t dry out.
Be sure to deadhead the flowers to encourage more new blooms throughout the growing season.
