SodPods™ are a great way to fill in bare spots or take on small landscape projects with 3″ x 3″ plugs. SodPods come in conveniently packaged 8 piece trays and are sold in quantities of 16, 32 and 64. We offer Centipede and St. Augustine Grass plugs at Sod Solutions in various varieties for St. Augustine. Palmetto® St. Augustine, Floratam, and University of Florida’s CitraBlue™ St. Augustine are the three St. Augustine varieties of SodPods we offer. What are SodPods?

SodPods™ Centipede Grass Plugs

Centipedegrass is commonly grown in the coastal regions in the southeastern United States. Centipede is a tough grass that has a massive root system. Its massive root system enables it to be a very drought tolerant grass and spread quickly to fill in bare spots.

SodPods™ CitraBlue® St. Augustine Grass Plugs

CitraBlue® St. Augustine was developed by the University of Florida’s turfgrass breeding program and was selected due to its shade tolerance, disease resistance and dense canopy. SodPods are a great way to fill bare spots or test the performance of a turfgrass variety. It is recommended to plant SodPods anywhere from 9” – 18” apart in a grid format.

SodPods™ Floratam St. Augustine Grass Plugs

Floratam St. Augustine is one of the most common St. Augustine grasses found in Florida. It is a low maintenance St. Augustine grass that can be kept at a higher height of cut. Floratam is most commonly found in commercial and home lawn settings throughout the Sunshine State.
