Summary: The Territory Manager will provide consultative sales of the Sod
Solutions’ product portfolio to turfgrass producers, turfgrass distributors, landscape professionals, sports/golf turf managers, and retail outlets

Goals & Expected Responsibilities:

  • Develop and cultivate relationships with all licensed sod farms.
  • Develop strategic relationships with turfgrass specifiers.
  • Increase the user base for Turf Logistics SaaS software.
  • Understand and cultivate relationships with key players in the Florida sod markets and supply chain.
  • Increase sales in the Florida territory and be accountable to the direction of your manager.

You will represent Sod Solutions in Florida. You will manage your territory as if it were your own business and will do so with the support of several dedicated teams with specific areas of expertise.

Skills Needed:

  • High Integrity
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Bachelor’s or Associates Degree, preferably in agricultural related
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the agricultural industry
  • Work well with others, enjoy being part of a team
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office platforms, willing and able to quickly learn Sod Solutions’ logistics and ecommerce software
  • Salesforce experience preferable
  • Desire to work in a small company setting with a strong sense of
    ownership for the performance of your territory

Additional Information:

  • Office hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (generally) but can vary with travel, at trade shows, etc. This is a salaried job with a “get it done” perspective being more important than particular hours.
