12 May National Mall to Use HGT Bluegrass
The major reconstruction work in Washington D.C. at the National Mall has been an ongoing project for a few years now and slowly but surely, completion is getting closer. One of the major projects is to re-grass the entire area and for that, the construction teams are turning to HGT Bluegrass which is tough and has pretty exceptional resistance to disease and insects. The sod is between the Capitol Building and the Washington Monument. It comes from Tuckahoe Turf Farms in Indiana. The sod was installed the first week of may.
