10 May Bobby Dodd Stadium at Georgia Tech Installs Latitude 36
The Ramblin’ Wreck of Georgia Tech will roll onto the football field this fall with Latitude 36 underfoot. The cold-tolerant bermudagrass variety was sprigged into the field at the end of April with an expectation to be fully grown in by the first of summer. Latitude 36 is a new variety from Oklahoma State University that has already been used at the college football ranks at the University of Virginia’s Scott Stadium and Duke’s Wallace Wade Stadium. Precision Turf of Braselton, Georgia (which did the Duke job) did the grow-in and installation.
